Instructions:
Step 1: Squeeze a few colors of Distress Stains onto the craft sheet and swipe the tag once through the Stains. Dry with Heat-It tool.
Step 2: Repeat the process 2-3 times, building up layers of color, being sure to dry between each layer.
Step 3: Apply Archival Inks to fill in any areas desired. I did this with two tags, and cut my David out of one.
Step 4: Stamp the sentiment in Jet Black Archival Ink. Fill in the tag with background stamps and stenciling, using Rust and Ginger inks.
Step 5: Stamp a segment of the ledger border stamp wide enough to be a crown. Ink the edges with Jet Black Archival Ink. Adhere rickrack with Matte Multi-Medium. It dries clear, so no worries.
Step 6: Add Black Enamel Accents dots as jewels to top of crown.
Step 7: Distress the edges of the tag with the Paper Distresser. Apply Archival Ink to the rough edges using an Ink Blending Tool.
Step 8: Spritz some Melted Chocolate Dylusions Ink Spray onto Craft Mat. Using a water brush, pick up the color from the mat and color in any remaining white spots on the edges.
Step 9: Glue together two scraps of manila card and grunge paper. Diecut the mustache.
Step 10: Add texture to the mustache using the Sizzix Brick Texture Fade.
Step 11: Apply three coats of paint to the mustache using the paint dabber. Adhere mustache to David Adhere crown to David, and David to tag using Matte Multi-Medium.
