CHA 2016 Designer Challenge

This year’s Ranger Designer Challenge features a brand new creative medium, Distress Crayons. Distress Crayons are water-reactive pigments designed to specially formulated to achieve vibrant coloring effects on porous surfaces for mixed media. The smooth water-reactive pigments are ideal for creating brilliant backgrounds, smudging, watercoloring and more! We’ve selected a group of talented artist to explore this exciting new medium and challenged each to create a panel using the new Dina Wakley Media Board with a focus on Distress Crayons combined with other Distress products. The group of entries will spark your creative imagination and inspire you to explore the versatility of Distress. Our thanks go out to all the designers for the time and effort they put into the Challenge. For more inspiration, take a look at each artist’s blog or website.
